You may have a number of questions you want

answered before you consult an Osteo.

You may have a number of questions you want answered before you consult an Osteo.

We are here to demystify and help you

make an informed decision.

Where are you located?

We're at 149B–151 Pakington Street, Geelong West VIC 3218, on Pakington Street in the heart of Geelong West. Easy to reach from Newtown, Highton, Belmont, Hamlyn Heights, South Geelong, East Geelong, and surrounding suburbs. Whether you’re a local or just passing through,

we’re here to assist you.

Do I need a referral to see an Osteo?

No. You can book directly with Good Days Studio without a referral from your GP. Osteopaths are primary contact practitioners, meaning you can come straight to us. That said, if your GP has recommended osteopathy, we're happy to work alongside your existing healthcare team.

Is Osteopathy covered by private health insurance?

Yes. Most private health insurance policies with extras cover include osteopathy. The amount covered depends on your specific policy and provider. We recommend checking with your insurer before your first appointment. We use HICAPS so you can claim on the spot.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the nature and history of your condition. Some patients feel significant improvement after 2–3 sessions. Others with longer-standing or complex issues may benefit from an ongoing care plan. At your first appointment we'll give you a clear and honest assessment of what we recommend and why, we don't create unnecessary dependence on treatment.

What happens at my first appointment?

Your first session is a full 60-minute initial consultation. We'll take a thorough history, ask about your symptoms, lifestyle, and goals, and assess your movement and function. We'll then provide hands-on osteopathic treatment and finish with a clear explanation of what's going on and a recommended plan. You'll leave with more clarity than you arrived with.

Does Osteo treatment hurt?

Treatment should not be painful. You may feel some mild discomfort during certain techniques — particularly if an area is inflamed or has been restricted for a long time — but we always work within your comfort level. Some patients feel mild soreness for 24–48 hours after their first session, similar to the feeling after a new exercise. This is normal and temporary.

How do I book an appointment?

Book online at gooddaysstudio.com.au or call 0468 084 400. If you'd like to talk through whether osteopathy is right for you before committing please give us a call and we can answer any questions you may have.

What is Osteo and how can it help me?

Holistic & healing focused

Osteopathy is a holistic person-centered healthcare

approach that focusses on the body's natural ability to

heal itself.

We use manual therapy techniques to address

musculoskeletal issues, improve mobility and enhance

overall health and well-being.

The central premise behind Osteo considers the body

as a whole with treatment aimed at restoring balance

and promoting optimal functioning.

Osteo offers numerous benefits:

Pain relief

Osteo treatment may be able to help reduce pain from

common conditions including neck pain, back pain and

other joint and sports related injuries.

Improved mobility

Techniques used can improve joint mobility and

flexibility making movement whether that be walking,

running or striking that yoga pose with ease and

comfort.

Prevention:

As primary healthcare professionals Osteo's can help

provide advice on preventing future health related

issues from arising. They are well placed to provide

long term health strategies to ensure you can function

at your absolute best.

A true holistic approach: many health professionals

claim to be holistic and Osteo's can be considered to

be the founders of such an approach to health. It is built

into their DNA to consider the interconnectedness of

body systems and an understanding of treating the root

cause of a condition, not just the presenting symptoms

that you may have.

more in common between these professions

than people may think.

Each profession can treat similar types of problems and

musculoskeletal concerns however their approach to

assessment and treatment approaches and options

given may differ.
