Dr Ali Blazey

Ali’s connection to movement began in childhood, training as a dancer from the age of three. Whilst pursuing full-time ballet training in her teenage years, Ali developed persistent leg pain which led to multiple surgeries that ultimately shifted her path. During her own rehabilitation, Ali discovered Clinical Pilates — an experience that helped her rebuild strength, confidence and trust in her body. Inspired by the impact movement had on her recovery, she completed her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction and began supporting others through their own journeys.

Ali was introduced to osteopathy while working in a multidisciplinary clinic and immediately resonated with its holistic philosophy — treating the whole person, not just their symptoms, and went on to study osteopathy at university. Today, she blends gentle hands-on treatment and personalised exercise rehabilitation to support patients through different stages of life.

Her approach is calm, collaborative and centred on helping people feel understood, empowered and confident in their bodies.

Ali has a special interest in women’s health and movement, and continues to expand her knowledge in these areas.

Outside the clinic, Ali enjoys travelling with her husband Tim, practising Pilates and spending time with family and friends.

Ali is available at Good Days Studio on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

What is Osteo and how can it help me?

Holistic & healing focused

Osteopathy is a holistic person-centered healthcare

approach that focusses on the body's natural ability to

heal itself.

We use manual therapy techniques to address

musculoskeletal issues, improve mobility and enhance

overall health and well-being.

The central premise behind Osteo considers the body

as a whole with treatment aimed at restoring balance

and promoting optimal functioning.

Osteo offers numerous benefits:

Pain relief

Osteo treatment may be able to help reduce pain from

common conditions including neck pain, back pain and

other joint and sports related injuries.

Improved mobility

Techniques used can improve joint mobility and

flexibility making movement whether that be walking,

running or striking that yoga pose with ease and

comfort.

Prevention:

As primary healthcare professionals Osteo's can help

provide advice on preventing future health related

issues from arising. They are well placed to provide

long term health strategies to ensure you can function

at your absolute best.

A true holistic approach: many health professionals

claim to be holistic and Osteo's can be considered to

be the founders of such an approach to health. It is built

into their DNA to consider the interconnectedness of

body systems and an understanding of treating the root

cause of a condition, not just the presenting symptoms

that you may have.

What conditions do you treat?

Our skilled Osteopaths address a wide range of

conditions to help you feel your best. Some of the

conditions we treat include:

Sciatica: We target nerve pain that radiates from

the lower back down to the legs, providing relief

and improving mobility.

issues, we work on restoring movement and

relieving pain in the hip region.

our bespoke treatments aim to alleviate knee pain

and promote recovery.

injuries to help you get back on your feet.

Shoulder and Elbow Pain: Our approach helps in

managing pain from conditions like tendonitis, bursitis,

and general discomfort.

Neck and Back Pain: We specialise in relieving tension and

pain in these crucial areas to improve overall function.

Migraines: Our holistic strategies help reduce the frequency

and intensity of migraines, offering you a sense of relief.

Endometriosis: We offer supportive treatments that

aim to alleviate pain and enhance comfort for those

dealing with this condition.

Kids: We provide gentle osteopathic care tailored to children,

addressing issues like growing pains and postural concerns.

Whats the difference between an Osteo,

Physio and a Chiro?

This is a common question and in all honesty there is

more in common between these professions

than people may think.

Each profession can treat similar types of problems and

musculoskeletal concerns however their approach to

assessment and treatment approaches and options

given may differ.
